Downpipe help please

   I bought an exhaust downpipe from Citroen a while ago as a replacement for my Saxo MK1 VTR (1998 R plate)
   
   When I went to fit it, it wouldnt go on as the pipe didnt clear the sump, therefore was too short to attach to the CAT.
   
   Do you think that I have been given a 1.1 exhaust rather than a 1.6?
   
   I've checked all the exhaust books, but can find nothing to answer my question.

   May be off a mk2 vtr mate by the sounds of it.

   Na, not off a Mk2 mate as its only got the 3 studs to join to the manifold.

   Not stolen. I did pay for it. Cost me £50. I just didnt buy it from over the parts counter. My mate ordered it in for me.
   
   I'll check with him if I can return it I suppose

   50 quid!!! whats wrong with the scrap yard lol, id jus take it to the parts counter if its still in citroen packing, and if he had to order it in im sure it will be on there systems. just blag it for an exchange

   I dont buy stuff from scrappers as chances are it'll be as bad as the bit I'm replacing.
