Fitting neons with hiding the tube, so it only glows

Hi,

Title pretty much says it all lol

I wanna know how u fit neons on a 1.1 saxo 99, so that you cant see the tube light, only a glow.

I know not many people like them, so dont flame me pls

where are they going? inside or outside

if its out side then sit them behind the lip on the bottom of the skirt behing the jacking up point

if its inside then im taking its foot well neons and just push then right up so you can see them

normally the clips you get are shit and make it so the neon sits really low.... best idea if all your want is a glow is make your own clips up or...... but L.E.D ones and point them upwards

well when i had them fitted on old car, as saxos dont have much bodywork to fit the tubes to the front and the rear have to use some sort of plastic clips that tighten around bits of..well anything that you can tie around really lol, i presume by "hiding" the tubes u mean the sides, the sides can be screwed in to the underbody normally, unfortunately unless you've got sideskirts they will be visible, although i have heard of newer slimline neons that may well be hidden just enough

yeah they have those slimline ones on ebay for 65 or you can get them in halfords for 90 i think

front and back are piss easy to do but the sides are hardest you going need side skirts mate or like someone said somethink about slimline ones tho iv never seen these

dont do it

but as said it will be hard to completly hide them unless its vt kitted

il have a look under my mums later and see if i can see anywhere where you could put em
