wrong suspension help needed!?

   ok so heres the deal, ive been waiting four months for my suspension too arrive and now it has , im not sure if its correct.!
   
   the picture it shows here is different to what i have received.
   the picture shows is the strut as having a bottom cradle (pic 1) but what im lookin at is just the damper (pic 2)!
   
   do i have to split it all and fit the new damper inside the strut or do i have the wrong equipment?
   
   any advice would be greatfully appreciated!

   i have the same as the bilsteins pictured only theyre spax, theres no difference between them.

   u use the standard leg as it all the brakes bolt to it so u have to take the old damper insert out then put new one in!

   is it easy to remove the old dampers from the leg?
