The GTi6 box is much larger than the standard box so im sure it will need
some work to fit and be safe,
Not even sure if its possible.

    Experts decision required!

yeh was going to same as rushy... also dont think a standard vts engine would accelerate anywhere near as quick wth a gti6 box compared to a normal vts box to be honest... would of thought gearing ratios are alot longer ?

you can get a BE conversion for the Saxo but its expensive.

Gti-6 box will be too big. It loses steering lock on the 205 and the 106 would be worse.

Yeah the turning circle on the gti-6 is shocking enough, will be terrible on a saxo/106

Needs all the shafts fabbing. Buying the box would be the cheap bit. Think a conversion kit is £1500+vat

The 6 speed also sticks through the wheel arch of the GTI-6 so fitting it in a saxo wouldn't be great, though I think Bucky had one and got round that problem

id also say that it would affect the handling quite a bit, the turning circle on a 306 isn't great id imagine it would be worse in a vts..

    Cal dont buy it lol!

how would a gearbox effect the handling? you need the pugsport bellhousing to make it fit as the guys have said, you also need pugsport/custom shafts. it's an asw conversion anyway, as the 5spd from the 206 gti-180 allows 172mph iirc (assuming you have the power to get there of course). still needs same parts as gti-6 'box to make it fit though.

ive seen a 106 with the gti 6 engine and box in, the turning circle was dangerous, cost alot of money as well, i wouldnt get one

IIRC the bell housing on the GIT-6 box is different. It truely is a MASSIVE box and pokes through the wheel arch of the very wide 306.

Gearing for 170mph in a saxo is pointl;ess, a different final drive would eb a better move. As the MA box is ok for over 130bhp at the wheels before it needs work I'd stick with that.

if you wanna go that fast may as well just use a vtr box on a vts lump lol much Cheaper!
