Piston Rewinding . . .

    Having trouble with the piston on the rear brakes, the tool i have to rewind the piston in dosnt fit, its this one . .

    Is there a special tool for the citreons? or is there any way in which i can use something thats lying around in the garage? Just tring to fit new disks and pads

    i just used a screw driver through two slots to turn the piston back, always worked for me

    Im assuming that you have to push fairly hard on the piston for it to go back in? many thanks for the reply

    nope just wind the piston and it will bring itself in

    Use a G clamp, makes life 10 times easier

    you wont get one on unless u take the caliper completely off and you dont have to take the caliper off to do rear pads on a saxo as its a differnt sorta design to other calipers and the rear caliper piston has to be turn aswell josh not just copmpressed as its also part of the handbrake system.. as said before jsut use a screwdriver to turn it while compressing with some grips,

    Use a screwdriver as said above and turn in a clockwise motion.

    yeah screw driver n a bit of a push alsways worked forme as well or a pair of long nosed pillars

    Use a squared screwdriver, then use the handbrake to pump the pads to the disc.
