one side lower than the other...

Back at one of the yorkshire meets Saxo180 (Craig) asked why do some of the saxo's look lower on oneside even with nobody in the car.

Obviously its hard to tell when driving, but does anyone else think their car seems to sit slightly uneven.

Mine has done ~70k but half of that for me was with other people in the car (evening the weight out) + im not a P H A T bastard

what i can see is happening mate is alot of people are lowering the torsion bars and not replacing the dampers, the dampers get old or leaky and dont hold the weight of the car proper so for example 1 side may have a fookd damper therefore sitting lower because its lost its oil or its just dead, thats the only reason i can think of!

Always hit the passenger side into the kerb causing the spring to compress!

ye think mine does it slightly, just anober saxo prob suppose

could this not be caused by lowering the rear the Clicky way?

as above- it's of the biggest problems of lowering by notches, both sides end up uneven. another reason is worn axle bearings which sag and again cause one side to appear lower than the other.

mine isnt lowered and my old pug had a similar prob (though it was a bit older)

im worried about this happening when i lower my car but whenever i ask how do you lower it all the garages say the same thing by clicks

i got told by the engineer at the citroen garage it's something to do with one torsion bar being in front of the other so they never match 100%,but not sure if that was just his excuse after he'd lowered mine as it sat down lower on the drivers side. what side is most peoples lower on that have this problem?
