depemds where you get it. powerflow seem to be good quality but the way they bend the pipes kills performance.

I have a Powerflow and i agree with williams, it does sound sweet but i think if it had less bends in the pipe the gains would be more noticeable! although, would this not depend on where you get if fitted!?

Personally i wouldn't be asking what other people think about your exhaust! exhausts are more personal preference, and tbh as long as you like it, then it shouldn't matter what other people think!

i agree with seamer... i also have a powerflow exhaust, i also have the de cat pipe on and a 4 2 1 manifold and mine sounds absolutly pukka! its even get all the popping while deacelarating that rally cars have i love it!

its entierly up to you personally i dont like the way the magnex backbox sits, the rule tends to be custom for noise and looks and the likes of magnex for performance

i'm looking for performance over sounds and looks.

pipe bending isn't a problem as i know many people who can mandrel bend pipes upto 2.5", so no loss in pipe diameter.

was thinking of doing it myself, would just need to buy a mid and rear box.

I personally wouldnt go with a powerflow one, we have one on our 306 gti-6 and it feel very restricted. Try somewhere like carworx.

well if i go custom i will do it myself.

will just by the boxes and get one of my dad's mates who has a pipe bender to do it, it does mandrel bends to so you dot get the kink, just a nice curve.

If you make it clear what your after then I think your more likely to get what you want.

Ive had few custom jobs and they have been fine.

In ref to having a system which was just a straight pipe from manifold to back box with no bends at all might be bad for back pressure but Im no expert, a good exhaust shop should be able to more informative.

If your looking for the best gains in performance personally Id go for either Ashley or OMP a bought a Janspeed and was overally impressed but thats just my opiuon

its not the number of bends thats the problem, its how they bend them, they get thinner at the bends.
