homemade dimma grille

   is it possible to cut the slats of a mk2 grille and mesh it like a dimma one, has anyone done it?

   You could but you need to filler the bit where the chevrons were which obviously needs to be cut out. The fakies are a better choiuce than a new dimma, only 35 ish off ebay

   I have done it just need 2 finish painting it looks pretty much the same but takes alot of time if you have got the time do it but if not buy one will post pics of mine soon

   Mines is a DIY jobbie i bought off some bloke on EBAY! Looks fine IMO!Its only under closer inspection u can see

    same matt hence why i cut mine up rather than buy a dimma
