40mm drop

right, i'm planning on lowering my car 40mm , but i'm going to buy a full sus kit, ft + rr shocks/dampers and front springs, then get alignment and tracking checked after.

just wanted to see if i will get any arch rubbing? will be running standard vts rims?

    cheers

no mate, you'll have no probs when only going down 40mm! maybe a slight bit of rubbing on full lock, but nothing to worry about!

i lowered my vts 40mm and the tyre just rubs slightly on the inside arch lining when on full lock

shouldnt rub at all, i was down 50 on vts rims on my vtr never had problems

Im down 60mm on vtr wheels and i only just get slight rubbing on full lock on one side but i think thats todo with the garage ragging the inner arch about when changing Drive shaft.

dont want to make a new thread, but when you get your car lowered is it essential to get alignment and tracking done, or is it perfectly safe to drive the sameee..

a garage told me you can't do laser tracking on a saxo.
