Head Gasket Price

Is £200 a good 'all in'* quote for changing a HG?

Just spoken to a local garage, who quoted me that with a 6hr turnaround (drop off at nine, pickup at 3).

Given that I'm not very confident when it comes to working under the bonnet, I reckon it'd be worth having it done professionally, but don't want to be ripped off.

    Cheers,

I was quoted £800 2 weeks ago for head gasket! This was from a Main Dealer. When I recovered consciousness after fainting, I took my car away and got it done for £240............so not a bad quote you got there, I'd say.
