how to remove the dial surround

seen alot of people colour codin dash and interior bits but iv not been able to remove the dial surround dash thing, how do you do it?

ov removed the whole case for the steering wheel and the screws that i can see but it still wnt come off

u unscrewed the two screws at the top of it??

there are two more screws at the base of the dial surround, they are a bit difficult to get to i hate to use a mini hack saw blade and cut away part of the lip that hangs down from the surround. Dont worry the bit you need to cut off is hidden by the steering shroud.

yeh i hav seen that bit and i think thats the one thats gettin in the way but i didnt really wana hav to be takin a saw to it. is that the only way?

Can u get it out without the steering wheel coming off?

Thats the only bit i haven't done....apart from centre console but thats got something slightly different.

if you do what i said above then you dont need to take the wheel off.

Thats the way i done it and there are probably other ways to do it, but for me that was the quickest and easiest way to do it and you cant see the bit you cut off as its hidden by the steering column shroud

yeah remove the steerin wheel and all steering cover then theres two screws at the bottom but its easier to slide forward the indicator and light stork assembly thing and u should have fine access to taking it all out, piece of piss. its all torx screw fittings by the way
