Exhaust is tame (Magnex)

   Hey all im having trouble sourceing a magnex center section, now i already have a magnex back box but its just so tame noise wise so do you think i would be better to purchase a center section from a different retailer maybe helping to increase the intensity of the exhaust?

   it will be the silencer in the middle section thats making it "tame"
   
   just have one made if you can source somewhere plus have you still got the cat on that makes it quieter too

   my magnex backbox is quiet as hell aswell CAT in the manifold, straight through pipe (standard) under the car, just wanna get a manifold on the bugger see if that makes it any louder!

   i got a 5" scorpion backbox thats very raspy if you wanna swap? what size exit is you exhaust?

   I had a magnex backbox on my VTR, dead quiet! Actually couldnt even hear it.
   
   Have a full Magnex with the decat in and tbh its perfect. Not too loud on
   tickover but screams at high revs.
   
   Im sure somewhere like www.motorsportworld.co.uk would do the centre
   section?

   i was told by Demon tweeks when i ordered my magnex backbox that they dont make magnex centre sections ? i dont know wheather its true or not

   They definatly make them, not sure if you can buy them seperatly though.

   go to top gear (powerflow) and have the middle silencer removed, passes mot and sounds a tad louder.

    If its definatly a Magnex centre section you need then I reckon your best
    bet is emailing Magnex.
    Last time I emailed them though I never got a reply... Must think they are
    better than me.

    Iv got the quiet powerflow backbox with standerd system apart from that. If i take out the box in the middle will I be louder or more importantly will it decrease the pressure and loose power?

    wont loose power.
    stiffler get a straight through supersprint section to your backbox, only about 80 pound

    Any links to the best place to buy one mate, i said i wasnt going to do this to the s but im thinking about some 708's and remap etc so need a decent exhaust system.

    dont know the cheapest place, but youll find them on google, maybe ebay. spencer bought one so maybe see where he got his from

    If you want loud get a magnex decat and magnex center section from abp motorsport without thr silencer! I have one VERY VERY LOUD

    if you got to a custom exhaust centre they will usually cut out the centre section and weld in a bit of pipe for about £20

    Mate go to Halfords. They can get the centre section in without the silencer. I went in a few weeks ago to ask bout it. Wasnt alot of money aswell if i remember correctly

    Hi thanks for the advice i got the supersprint center section good price too so going to see how this pans out i recon it will assist in making things a little louder manifold next and decat

    The Supersprint centre section will not fit the Magnex rear silencer that you
    have, because the two have different flanges at the rear and meet in
    different places. The Magnex or ABP/Magnex centre section is the only type
    that will fit with no modifications. The Supersprint will fit Supersprint,
    Scorpion, Remus, Devil, Piper, Peco or Janspeed rear silencers. But not the
    magnex im sorry to say for you.
