rev limiter?

   anybody know how 2 get the rev limiter off my saxo.its mk1 vtr.cheers

   dont think u can remove it as such u can adjust it but think that means adjusting something to do with the ecu.
   
   why do u want to remove it??

   wanna remove or adjust it coz it seems to limit too soon.

   if its standard and on standard cam it is not to soon, your peak power is before the limiter anything after is essentially noise

   well its goin in in 2weeks for a piper cam kit fitted.will i need 2 touch the limiter then

   get a chip then, dont think there is any other way to remove the limiter.

   i believe some places can now alter the std ecu.. think http://www.jam-sport.co.uk who are rumoured to be very good.. can do it.
