lowerd 40mm with 17's,rubbing on full lock

    a up, iv ot 17's on mine and dne all the arch mods posible and they onli rub on full lock now, any idea's ? other than biger spacers

    The only thing that should be touching the wheels on full lock would be the water bottle, on the front o/s, you have 3 options;

    1) stick it and replace the bottle every 6 months

    2) melt the bottle and re mould it away giving the bottle clearance

    3) re-locate the water bottle by drilling a new hole somewhere else and re planting the bottle.

    Also m8 how did you get round the rear bumper touching the wheels?

    cheers for that mate, bt i already dne that lol its rubbin on the shassy i think,bt ye iv already reshaped the water bottle,doin my head in now, any other idea's ?

    mines the same, i tried leathering with a hammer but didnt help much!

    nobody else got any idea's ? the saxo haynes manual ( the modifying one says hit it with a hammer)

    Buy smaller wheels? Talk english? lol dont think theres much more you can do, have you got the correct spacers on?

    mine was the same it only rub on full lock to the right now but only very slightly hammers/mallets work wonders truly

    my bloke told me to get smaller wheels not a chance the right set of 17s look like sex on a saxo

    alright cheers for that , its going on a hydrolic lift 2mz to try and sort out , so hopefully be able to sort it ,bt ye i will be going at it with a big hammer,i payed for 20mm spacers, and measured them and there 23mm and also put a extra 4mm on so there is 27mm on, they rubbed more then when it was just the 23mm, so moveing them out anymore would be rubbing out the outer arch
    i would put a picture on here but carnt work out how

    iv got 20mm spacers on the front but it also rubs the drivers side on a radiator hose b4 it even hits the inner arch! just dont use full lock!!
