#2You will need quite a bit of arch work to fit 17's, personally id go for 16's as you dont need arch mods with a 40 profile tyre.
Also search for simialr threads on this as it has been asked before. -
#3scroll down mate see the other threads at bottom
-
#4its easy to sort the arches, why you would want to however is beyond me.
-
#5the amount of work isnt really an issue as im a mechanic its jst im wonderin what im gonna need to do!Quote:You will need quite a bit of arch work to fit 17's, personally id go for 16's as you dont need arch mods with a 40 profile tyre.

i wouldnt mind 16s but there jst aint as many nice lookin wheels made in 16s as there are in 17s! -
#6its about what you like dude if you want 17's do it the way its going you'll be the only different person on here with the bummage of Euro i love euro but it seems like its being ''sheeped'' any good bodyshop will tlk to you about having ur arches sorted shouldnt be to much i wouldn't of though

#7Im running 17's and if i could go back i would, imo stick with 15's or 16's m8.
-
#8no full lock, crap handling, dirt in so many places, expensive tyres, just a few reasons why not to.
fronts: take out arch liners, bang as much metal back as possible, esp the seams, cover in hammerite to stop the rust.
rears: take off rear bumper chop the bracket down both on the bumper and the car, andgle grind the lip away and on the inner arch, drivers side may need the fuel tube heating and squishing also.
should take no more than 2-3 hours -
#9They look gd though
-
#10they make the saxo look like a cartoon car
