induction kit problem please help me

   right then my car is saxo mk1 1.6 8v vtr 1998 now what induction kit can i get as tried a few like BMC, enclosed etc and nothing seems to fit due to little plate in the middle..anyone else got this problem? if so what have you got please provide pics if you can..got K and N at mo

   i dodnt have plate but miny is 2001 but surley you can just remove the plate unbolt it

   bottom pic looks a bit dodgey round the + terminal, hope that kit aint earthed lol

   Get a better pic of your engine bay thats strange as you can quite clearly see my coil pack sitting at the side of the bmc where the plate is on yours thats my coil pack

   just about to buy a filter of ebay k and n or such like they all seem to be for vts i have checked and checked picture and look like they will fit my 2000 vtr can anyone advise

    you may find itll fit your R but with a piece of adaptor pipe...
    Perhaps go to Halfords or a Motorworld and order a VTR specific air filter.
