re lowering torsion bar

   im thinking now ive found out im only 40mm at the rear of lowering the torsion bar again, would this be recommended or could i have problems? i looks a little rusty so i may not be able too anyway. i know it not good to but if i move each bar one spline, will that be 60mm?

   don't do it using the "splines" method, simple as that mate!

   a friend recommended dropping the axle off and adjusting it?

   i made a thread only a week or so ago with the help of stevenet, about how to adjust it properly, if you search, you will find it!!

   I was originally down 40mm then had it dropped to 50mm. Didnt have any problems.
   Also had rear beam bushes fitted while I had it done.
   
   Didnt do it myself, some expert pug tuners did it, which adds that extra bit of
   faith in their work lol.
   If your doing it yourself make sure you research into it (ie not using incorrect
   methods like S34MER mentioned above)

   cheers i'll have a look, a friend of the family is a pug technician and was the one who recommended taking it of to lower it, as for bushes there was new ones put on 8 weeks ago when i fitted the axle
