vtr on 17’s

   Hi,
   
   Have jus bought some 17's to go on my mk2 vtr. Suspension is standard, so need to lower it. What amount to lower by is the easiest option as far as cutting back arches etc and for it to still look sweet on 17's? Are there any common problems with fitting 17's like inner arches or liners etc?

   your going to need to get arch chopping if you lower it or not. obviously the less you lower it the less arch work may be needed.
   
   liners need to come out all round and your going to have to do some cutting of metal.

   I've tried them on and they fit fine on standard suspension so i'm looking to go down 30mm. Hopefully that will look good and won't cause too many problems.
   Sounds like a lot of work :-(
