best suspension kit

Im looking to get my VTR lowered about 30-35mm, My budget is bout £180-£200.Does anybody know a good kit they could recommend.
My main priortiy is to keep as much comfort in the ride as possible as i live in the middle of nowhere with about 2 miles of rough backroads in every direction before i get to the main road. I know alot of people are guna think that lowering that little won't make it look much different but i havn't really got a choice with where i live.
At the moment the car is running on 15s with 195 45 tyres just in case you need to know any help much appreciated!

lowering that much will be better then 50mm

i found eibach 30mm where very good that was just springs to bbut where about £100 but well worth it

id maybe get them then save up for some billie shocks

yeh sounds a good idea that, i know someone who lowered just with springs an his ride is really choppy which i don't really want but he did use cheap springs.

I'd very much look to upgrade your springs and dampers in one go. Do not touch the suspension until you can afford to do that. You'll enjoy driving the car a lot more in standard spec until you can than you ever will driving around on lowering springs with a massive dampening deficit.

In terms of a halfway house between spending big money and cheap rubbish, I would reccomend a set of H&R's and the shortened Bilstein dampers.

That said Keri, H and Rs apparently work ok with standards according to Mrs Mankee

Eibachs are brilliant even on standard dampers.

I have got the pro-kit Eibach springs on my vtr mate, with the standard dampers and its handles really well, and the ride is fine.

Ive got the full koni setup (springs + dampers) that took my VTR down by 35mm front and rear, and the roads i travel on are quite rough in some places and to be honest the comfort hasn't chnaged at all.

ok more stuff rattles now, but the handling is alot better. and it looks vey nice, much better stance on the car.

I'd rather have the damping sorted as well if you're firming up the springs. The standard dampers are a bit anyway.
