98bhp vtr, diesel centre section

   hi there, my standard exhaust centre section has had it. sounds like the baffles have gone.
   
   ive had a search on here but cant find anything definitive,
   will the diesel centre pipe fit straight onto my existing standard exhaust system?
   
   & what are the benefits for me to do this?
   bearing in mind i dont want my car to sound to boomy as i do 95% motorway driving.

   i have same plan, bigger bore size mate, not much bigger. wont see much difference as your cat is in mandifold, mine is under the car so will de-cat my car.....
   but it will fit

   only reason am doing it is to purely de-cat my car... so i SHOULD fingers crossed see some gains
