trying to decide whether i want to buy a posi blue or a black one. there is a quite cheap good nick saxo mk2 posi blue for sale close, but i've always had my heart set on a black one! so please help me out!

i'll start, apologies if these sax's belong to you but its a compliment really as they are sweet!

    posi blue

realise this is a mk1, but the shiny blue, mmm

    black

Personally I prefer black, as it look's so good when it's clean...

black cars don't show up as good at night and the curves aren't as noticeable as shadowing blends into the paintwork. Think the black saxo's look more mysterious and manly so probably just go with black. Never have black alloys though.

    for me regarding saxo's

    1. White
    2. Silver
    3. Black
    4. Blue
    5. Green
    6. Gold
    7. Burgundy

    Is there a red one?

heh, thats odd - here how id arrange it at the moment

    1. Blue tied
    1. Black tied
    3. Icelandic Grey
    4. Gold
    5. Burgundy
    6. Silver
    7. Two tone
    8. Green
    9. White

not sure if i missed any colours out! oh, the mauritious blue, which is quite rare and i dont really like anyway :o

...forgot that bluish silver colour and grey. Never liked 2 toned, looks like someones been to the scrappers to replace dented panels!

Im headin towards blue at the moment though coz for me its the original saxo colour and ive seen some great examples on this site!

well if you have always had your heart set on a black one then just look around and take your time because you don't want to regret your final choice

my mate had an icelandic grey 1 it looked sweet.
he's now got a wicked red 1 which is also nice but prefer the icey grey as not very common

    Black!

my mates got a black one and i got a posi blue one, black ones look great when they are clean. But black gets dirty quick. Blues probably easier found? just go for the one you want, think about what you want to do to it and what others have done. eitheir choice isa good one

tis a good point which is really what im worried about - but to be fair 2 grand for 46,000 miles mk2 2001 saxo seems like a really good deal which requires a lot of thinking regardless of colour

Mines the black one with the black wheels on your pics above. Not the most flattering shot there! It looks absolutely A1 when it's cleaned, polished and waxed but doesn't stay that way for long. I will honestly say that I will never own another black car again!

If you want something different why not try to find a non metallic red one? I had a Vtr in that colour and loved it!

ive got blue, but black 1s look smart to!
  18. #18
go for the black mate, with white wheels, mmm
  19. #19
Black or blue they both look really good, depends on your choice of 'mods' after that.

I'd go black, it looks really nice when polished up as said before, plus posi blue is far too common
  21. #21
go black mate alot of of work but look the nuts when clean i think!! lol not just cos i got a black saxo

    Icelandic Grey.

Best colour - too many blue ones about and everyone I know who owns a black car says they will never get another.
