   riiight kiddiewinkles i no absolutely f.a about ICE so here goes.....
   
   What do i need for a good setup and is it possible to do it for say 4-500 quids? and anyone got any recomendations!?!

   dont need rear components really.
   
   have you a head unit already?
   
   get yourself some front componennts and a sub, if you absolutely must have some rear fill then buy yourself some 10cm speakers that go in the rear quarters rather than spend it on 6x9's. Though if you want cheap noise makers then get some 6x9's for the shelf.

   Would rear components drag the sound stage back as well...or with them being 10cm and less power would it just be a nice clear sound?

   they drag it a little but not much, just set the gain on them lower

   Any good onlince ice stores where i can find Vibe component speakers/coax speakers so i can compare them for cost/power again pioneer?

    Looks like i'll be going for pioneer components then.
    
    Looking for ST50 Vice 13cm componenets tho, with crossover etc.
    
    Some pioneer components look to have seperate mids and tweeters but no crossovers...or is that me just being daft again?

    Go for SPL Dynamics subs & Amps
    Straigth from here, finland, and quality is garanteed
    For the front components I would go for DLS, Genesis, JL Audio, Rockford, Precision power etc.
    I would forget sony, vibe and that sort of shit
    But this is my opinion...

    sony i'd agree with, but vibe....i've heard a few vibe systems and they sound sweet.
    
    Looking to go for a full allround systems....not bits and pieces from different manufacturers.

    both top sites, if you hav the cash then spend it on alpine, my mates got a nice boot install with sum alpine subs.
