Right the badges on the back on my saxo are pretty shabby looking to be honest.

I have the posedion blue colour and was wondering what colour to spray the badges. Any idea/pics?

(Also know i can smooth the boot but thats way down the bottom of my list at the mo )

    Cheers!

    i say no badges

but if you want badges, black or standard for me
  12. #12
If you want black badges then just rub some t cut over them, beats taking them off and spraying them.
  13. #13
whats the best way to get the badges off??

i want to spray mine black
  14. #14
    They look best un-touched...
  15. #15
I did think of keeping them standard and just making them look 'newer'. Problem is the paints faded here and there. Prob will have them black background and silver on top.

From what i've seen above it does look the best.

Another question... I know how to get them off but what do i use to stick them back onto the bodywork? The holes alone surely wont keep them on.

    Cheers

black em out or smooth em off

the way i got my badges off is by washing it first then when your finished drying it the water will have soaked the foam on the badges making them easier to get off with an old credit ard

Dont like hi-jacking threads, but are the badges that easy to come off. Are they just stuck on and simply teasing them off will be the job complete? No holes to fill and no re touching of paint? (Mk1)

I think they have holes mate. Not 100% with the mk1 tho...
  20. #20
there are holes behind the citroen badge on a mk 1, 2 i think
  21. #21
three holes on Citroen Badge, and two on the Saxo Badge. They have been ripped off now and filled, now whats the best way to colour them on green Saxo? Touch up pen, or spray and lacquer on each tiny area?

Hmm i positive i heard the best way is to get the boot smooth and sparyed again. I cant see how a touch up pen is gonna look the same colour. You'll have 5 darkers dots in your boot surely?

Also spray and lacquer on each tiny area? Sounds a tad difficult.

i'd have kept them on mate and sprayed em...

ok mate. Let me know if its goes well..
  25. #25
    black definatly.

i wouldnt use a touch up pen mate will look really crap

best way to do it is get them smoothed out, then probablies be best if you paint the whole lid

so tcut them first to get them all black to see if you like them if so id paint them black for a proper job

if you want it smoothed then best bet is to get anything else you want on the boot done too
