So if I bought this manifold

what sort of centre pipe do I want to look at getting? Can I use my normal centre section while I wait to get a new one?

Also a friend of mine told me the cat in the early saxo's is in the manifold lol? Is that right?

You would still be able to have your standard center section mate.

Also the earlier models do have the cat underneath the car.

The later models have the cats in the manifold.

On the VTS the cat was always under the regardless of Phase1 or Phase2 but on the VTR the Cat was moved into the Manifold when the changed to the Phase2's this also coinsided with the change in rocker cover colours.

This made it simple to tell the difference between early 90bhp models and later 98bhp models.

Before you order take alook on www.kam-racing.com as they stock stainless steel 4-2-1 for both the S and the R, they also can offer a discount to saxp members - worth checking with them before ordering.

If your changing your manifold remember to budget for a new Manifold gasket and also if your losing the cat in your manifold your have to either fit a cat in your system or refit the OE manifold for the MOT as not cat, no pass.

Do I need to buy a new manifold gasket if I want to fit the raceland?
