Heya, ive just brought off EGay a rear spiler for my saxo.

Its the standard one that comes with the VT cars, how would I go about fitting it? It says it does not come with screws, so are the screws easy to get hold of or do I glue it on or something?

    Thnaks for any help,

Yeh its a MK II, same as my saxo.

I noticed near the top of the boot, there is a small dent each side, that looks the area where it would be fitted, its on the metel each side, is this correct or shall i get a photo?

Yeah, you need the holes. People have glued them on, but they tend to look a bit dodgy. If you havent got the holes though without getting a new window with the holes in already you could have issues.

The screws can just be bought from your local hardware store. I got 6 bolts of the right diameter, 3 sets of 2 at different lengths so i knew i had the right types, the smaller ones where best in the end. I got 4 rubber washers too, gave me em free as i didnt need the nuts that came with the bolts which was cool. Cost me about 68p i think lol

Not for a MK2 VT spoiler mate. Maybe a MK1 as theyre bolted through the roof of the boot and glued.

But the MK2 spoiler goes through the window, through 2 predrilled holes. Base models dont have the holes, so either you get a pro to cut you some holes, you glue the thing on which iant a great idea imo, you get a VT/Furio boot with the holes or you replace the windscreen

Can you show me a closer up picture of it please, the spoiler.

Maybe citroen will be able to do it for a good price, its mu 18th birthday today so had some money aswel which will likely cover it.

Ill get you one tommorow mate as its raining outside, but basically its got screw sockets in the bottom in the flat panels, the flat bit goes onto the glass and you bolt it through. I would look at getting a glass cutter to sort it for you first, shitroen will charge loads.

    And happy bday
