you dont need to get any new nuts mate unless you strip the threads or something and new ones will be able to get from citroen or local motor factors..........as for the springs i dont know but someone will later tonight im sure.

Springs are upside down in that pic. They need to move quite a lot when they first start compressing then less further up the shocker

ok i got the kit fitted by a pro but someone said that the springs was the wrong way round in the pic but the pro has fitted them the same way round as the pic should i be worried?? when i look abouve the wheel i can see that the springs look fitted the same way as the pic as the bottom 3 coils are touching each other.
  15. #15
so witch way is the right way to fit

  16. #16
if your unsure, he's not very 'pro'.
  17. #17
he works in a garage and says he has done it many of times b4 but someone on hear said that they were the wrong way round in the pic is this true
  18. #18
i think it may be but dont rely on me with that info
  19. #19
yeah there upside down in the pic as the bigger gapped end should be at the bottom as its designed to take the initial part of the bump
  20. #20
Sounds like a cowboy has fitted them for you.
  21. #21
Well the will be like that as the weight of the car will have made it look like that. i bet if u look at top of spring it will be same.

As for that 3 pin tool load of shit get some big waterpump pilars

  24. #24
just rang pi up and they said if i had a choice they would be fitted the other way up but he told me not to bother getting them changed round if there already on the car as it doesent rely matter if there the wrong way up (is there any truth in hat the pi team said

WHAT?!!!!! Are they mad? With the springs the wrong way up, you hit a hard bump and the suspension will easily bottom out and you'll find your car bouncing off the bumpstops!
