    are they worth the money?

(accidently posted in wrong section before this)

i have both, upper and lower, and felt that the lower one made the most difference. i got my upper one from Strutbracer and the lower one from Demon Tweeks.
the top is a Sparco one and was about £40, but i think that the OMP one looks better
and the lower one is OMP and that was £41.75 posted

they are really easy to fit as well which makes it better and imo they do improve the handling

    Upper or lower?
  4. #4
so best to get lower first?
  5. #5
Most people get upper first it seems. its also a bit easier to fit. But its your choice.

but if i get more gains from lower that seems the most sensible.

Whats the lower one like for clearance? I'm going to be lowering my car by 60mm and want to know if I'll still be able to fit a lower strutbrace LOL

there is a pic on here somewhere of a lower strut brace on a -40mm saxo and it sits dam low, my car scrapes speed humps enough at -40mm so adding the lower brace to mine would make things so much worse

Hmmm Prolly have to give it a miss then

Shame if they make a canny bit of difference but would rather be LOW

Ive got an OMP bottom brace and its never caught on any proper speedbumps.

It has however caught on a brick and on those stupid narrow humps that do nothing between road narrowing to one lane 'chicanes'

the "I" is the narrow bump (so wheels dont actually get raised at any point.
"|" is the road and > < is the road narrowing if you get me

edit: road lines wont move across on my post but you get the idea

by the way they cost me £70 for both inc p&p
