stainless or mild

   i have a 4-2-1 manifold and im not sure if its stainless or mild steel. i bought it off a mate and he isnt sure either. does anyone know how to find out? cheers

   should be able to tell by the colour mate! if its gone kind of rusty its mild steel

   not sure what make it is mate. it has gone blue in places but no rust. does that mean it is stainless or not?

    Def sounds like a stainless steel, like mention a mild steel would have gone a funny colour and will be covered in surface rust.
    
    S/S 4-2-1 could be SuperSprint, Cituning or maybe RaceLand, my guess is its a RaceLand item as alot of people go for these because of the good value for money.
