rubber or not rubber

   to the rocker cover off today as oil is pissing all down the front of the engine from underneath that rubber seal. just wondering if there is suppose to be aother like gasket bit underneath that as i cleaned it and there was this funny stuff like gunk and there is a rim on the rubber that looks like there should be another bit in there. any ideas? cheers guys and gals.

   no mate its just a rubber gasket that slots around the bottom of the rocker cover and seals it to the head! there only a couple of quid for a new one!

   Your meant to replace the gasket when you take the orcker off mate, the old ones usually cracked and useless when you take it off. I got one for 6 quid off ebay
