When you buy one, ask for the thickest one there is for your engine.

    cheers mate rep given !
  18. #18
you should have had your head skimmed when your head gasket went mate, just to make sure it was perfectly flat, cause when it got hot it would have warped! like said above it shouldnt cost much to have it skimmed! hope you sort it all out mate

Ok here goes does your car have a sound like water is running somewhere but your not sure and when you put your foot down the car is hesitant and feels like it is miss firing and cutting out, if this is the problem your getting its your vavles and tappets mate they are not set correctly need to be nipped off to the correct setting

P.S You plainly dont seem to know what you are doing with this car why dont you give the guy a call who's number i give you and stop messing with engines before you blow yourself up

i have totaly rebuilt my head so no probs with that.
and also used a feeler gauge to set up the tappits there's no problem with them.

My car had some crazy revving lately.. like when i'd pull up to the lights etc.. then my car got worse. found out it's the fuel injection unit that was buggered. so had to get a new one.
