been looking at my car and it needs lowering. dont want it too low just so that there isnt a gap between the arch and the wheel. i know that the ride will become harder and i will notice the road surface more but how much more is it than standard? what kit is best to get, was only thinking about getting springs because i cant really be bothered to pay loads for it all.

    any help grately received

if your just getting springs dont go no lower than 40

If you get just springs, then the you might find your car bottoming out alot, as the standrad shocks are softer than stiffer uprated ones! my advice is buy the full kit, but its upto you! if you buy it all in one go, then it will be cheaper as you buy it as a "kit"

why not go 35mm and compromise! but if you stay on standard shocks the ride and handling won't be as good as if you bought the full kit!

I've lowered 40mm mate on just springs. Handlings excellent and whilst the ride is bumpy-er its not that bad really. Looks good n its bout a centimetre between the arch on the wheel (with the standard vtr rims)

Not had any problems with it at all.

Deff go for just springs if dont wanna fork out loads of money and just want it lowered abit

just lowered 35 mm on koni springs, front feels same as before. think most probs are at the back with the damn torsion bar, hand brake cables, anti roll bar nuts etc etc etc, mine looks a lot lower than 35mm at the back, might have to get it highered.
