Middle exhaust

   Hi!
   
   I just spent 3000 NOK ( Approx 250 £ ) on a supersprint backbox. Almost no change in sound!! Only a deeper note when the car idles. I have a 99 1,4 VTS (think its called Furio in England ) with a middle silencer behind the cat. Do you know any good "sport" middle silencers? I think if i remove the middle silencer it will be to noisy!

   You can buy a supersprint centre section and i think that will increse the sound a little! There is a guy on here with one and it sounds quite good! Do a search mate, im sure you will be able to find the video on here somewhere!

   There mainly straight through,
   
   Then you have other ones with boxes,
   Magnex,
   Piper,
   Janspeed,
   Mongoose
   
   The you can also de-cat which will increase the tone of your car;
   Magnex De-cat.

   i want to keep the cat. ill probably go for a new center section. dont know if ill have a box or just pipe. do you know any good webshops who ships abroad seas? To Norway..

   ok. thanks! think its gonna be expensive to ship anyway. think i might try to take off the original center section and cut the box off and replace it with a pipe. easy fix! if its 2 loud, well....more work to come

   I removed my centre box but just replaced it with a small bit of pipe, the note didnt get louder but the note changed to a more metallic raspy note.
   
   A lot will depend on the type or brand of back box, if your looking for more noise then a more open or straight through style of rear exhaust will increase the exhaust note.
