Mk2 106 bonnet on Mk1 Saxo?

   Does anyone know if this would be an easy fit, or much modification involved? I fancy having a crack at fitting one on the Saxo, smoothing the bonnet badge off it of course.
   
   It should in effect give a nice looking badboy effect over my morettes.
   
   This is the photoshop i had of a normal Saxo Mk1 bonnet done and it doesnt look too dissimilar to the Mk2 106

   I don't see why it wouldn't fit tbh, with a bit of work. Never thought of that actually, sounds like a cool idea to me.
   Not 100% sure whether it is actually possible though.

   Anyone know of a Mk2 106 bonnet going for a cheap price? Dont care about paint condition etc as long as theres no dents or creases

   will be a lot of custom work to get it to fit will but if i know you better your good at it will look cool

    I did some chops of a 106 gti bumper on a mk1 and mk2 saxo in the photoshop forum awhile back:

    would look awesome! as long as the bonnet radius is the same where it meets the front wings.

    you need to change the title to BONNET.
    
    
    you should get a badboy bonnet either way. it looks a gizillion times better and more modern.

    i know it may sound a bit silly, but wouldnt one of the biggest problems be re-locating the bonnet release? making a new one etc?

    Yeah quite possibly ill have to do a few measurements. The rest should be easy ive got all the tools to do it.
    
    Might have a bonnet by the end of the week so ill keep you all updated
