Bodykits

    Hello

Just a few questions on body kits:

Do you have a body kit?! I was tempted to get one but have heard they take a lot of looking after.

How often do you wash our body kit?! I have been told that they need washing every 1 or 2 weeks otherwise they go rusty/rotton and start to fall off?!

    Is this true?!

    Thanks

i have a full body kit on my car and theres nothing wrong with it it's been on a while + i had a full kit on my last car and that was fine just if u lower a car with a kit on it then u have to be curefull as not to hit speadbumps, pot holes, ect... as some kits are low so u cant lower ur car to much + have to work around the kits. e.g. dont get shitty brackets n mountings they dont last long i made my own out of sheet alloy covered in antirust paint so as they dont snap or rust + reanforce the mountain bolts on the bumper i used extra fiberglass to do this...

i have to measure and work out how low i can go with my kit on as im getting a lowering kit soon and dont want to catch my kit!! im looking to go about
2" - 3" from bumper to road so this will defo catch on speadbumps n stuff but i know before hand... so there u go mate hope that helps?....... feel free to rep!!

i think kits on saxo's look gash tbh mate, keep the standard look imo!

the only problem with kits is that they look shite if your not lowered, but if you lower them too much, you end up scraping the front end on every speed bump your car meets!

no they only take as much maintaining as they rest of your car, you should wash your car once a week anyway!

Any kit will be fine if its looked after properly
