    If the MK2 VTR's have a single plug ECU and cat under car, are they 90 or 98bhp? This has probably come up loads of times, but cant find anything on the search!

    mk 2 the cat is in the manifold
    its a 98 bhp model too

    not sure on the ecu

    My mate has the mk2 shape VTR with the rounded headlights, but his cat is under the car and has a single plug ECU, just wondering what bhp it is?

    Im sure the cat came in the manifold after the year 2000

    but the mk2's were made in 99 so he may have had an early one...

    Im sure they are 98 BHP though but slighlty heaver than the mk1

    single plug mk2's with cat under the car are the 90bhp models.

    Thought so! Thought it was funny that CAT wasnt in the manifold and had single plug ECU. Hes also got 120 on the clock where as mine has got 140!
