was asked to put these in here. thought it might suprise some people.

although i think im just going to get the normal. rolling roads arent always accurate.

    but here we go.

    86.45bhp

    from an open induction kit
    and straight through exhaust

Has it been remapped mate? Its just that according to the printout it says 86.45bhp at 6425rpm, i thought the furio hits the limiter before a VTR?

Some good gains there though mate, very impressive!
  7. #7
I havent remapped it. so unless the previous owner did. then the answers no.
  8. #8
Great gains from a couple of mods though mate!
  9. #9
well i was extremely please id be biting at a standard 90bhp vtr
  10. #10
Yeah right mate, i get worried about guys like you especially if we ever met on a track, it could look very embarrasing!
  11. #11
Ha! yea people are like that around here. they think because they have lexus lights on their VTR they are flying. but not when they cant shake off a Lil' Furio
  12. #12
good work, i used to find standard furios vs standard VTRs isnt that much in it throught 1st and initially 2nd

all about the 0 - 60, am not arsed about top end i dont feel safe tbh. But i do love flooring it to see how fast i can hit 60 puts a smile on my face.

Id be well happy with that return from them mods - and who really cares if its not a 100% correct amount

Its what it feels like on the road thats the most important and a saxo with almost as power as a VTR and with a slightly lighter engine then you could Very Well snap at the heels of a standard VTR.

Sheading a bit of weight ie stripping and lite weight wheels either Steelies or propper motorsport alloys could see you even closer mate

Wow, impressive, I suppose yours has a superchip ECU upgrade?

    ManC

Thats good results! Just makes me wonder what my west would be as it has full exhaust system with a 4 branch manifold and sports cat. Also being stripped out it has a go with 98bhp vtr's upto about 70.

NOPE. only mods are exhaust and filter.

    no ecu remaps or chips.
  22. #22
Thats a reallqy good power increase, your engine must have been putting out a good bhp to start of with
