#7100 is very cheap, your boots probably worth 50ish. and bodyshops charge 250.
as for colouring, it may have weathered that much that its a different colour offset, but who cares its still cheaper to swap and respray than to get a new one welded. -

Make sure they are propperly welding the panel up and then smoothing over that. Same with the boot badges heard of bodyshops just using abith of filler

#9with some pro filling and layering, you can prevent chances of the filler crackin quite easily! so it doesnt matter if you weld it! as long as its not a rushed filling job!!

My 1.1 is the same colour as my friends VTS.

I know the mark one 1.1 is different though. -
