Do you think the saxo looks better with a body kit or are you better off keeping it the way it is??
Bodykit or not?

#2Noooooo!! As you have a 1.1 the only kit i would put on is the VT* kit..
Probs just leave it though, slam it on its ass, they still look nice slammed.
-
#3body will make your car stand out and be different.
Just dont go for something silly. -
#4The only bodykit that is acceptable on a saxo is the dimma one imo.
I'd have the standard vt* kit anyday. -
#6can you buy vt kits for them ?? would they be hard to fit etc , how much does the dimma kit cost , and how much you reckon it would cost for the kit , respray and geting it put on?
-
#7Yeah cituning do the vt kit for 1.1's
-
#8im gna lower mine jus then
-
#9Good choice!

#10Cliche Kit

#11dimma kit is a pain to fit.Quote:can you buy vt kits for them ?? would they be hard to fit etc , how much does the dimma kit cost , and how much you reckon it would cost for the kit , respray and geting it put on?
and it totals into the thousands to get it done properly with a respray.
you have to re-locate your petrol car and everything. -
#12no its not, its the same as any other kit if not better because it uses the original bumpers so that it fits properly.Quote:dimma kit is a pain to fit.

what ever kit you fit you are going to have to get it sprayed and you dont have to re-locate the petrol cap. -
#15I would say not. However I quite fancy an F2 bumper to go on my VTR cos its nice and subtle.
Obviously though its all down to personal preference and tastes. -
#16whack a VT kit on it if it hasnt already,
cheap way to make a basemodel look lish -
#17i've never been tempted to put a vt* kit on. its never appealed to me. if i'm going to change the look of it, i'm going to change the look - i'm not going to make it look like something it isn't.
if that makes sense?!
the cliche kit is nice. i really like the front bumper as its not over the top or anything and has some nice lines.
although i'm not keen on the back. i think that lets it down a little.
end of the day, its your call. if you find a kit that you like the look of, go for it.
in my opinion though, flat arched models don't need kits to look nice. in many cases they look too much.
keep it smooth and simple is what i say! -
#18Im gonna say kit it, otherwise every saxos gonna end up with a magnex, lowered 40mm on VTS rims, de badged and colour coded. If you want to do it, go for it be different
-
#19standard or dimma for me too
-
#20Bodykits are a big no no from me apart from a dimma.
