Ok is there a how to guide in here on painting the rocker cover? Hate to ask a dumb Q but what is under the rocker cover...? When you remove it are the internals of the cam etc exposed?

#2You should see the cam underneath the rocker mate. Not sure if there's a how to guide though.
Just clean it up, sand it down, prime it, spray it and laquer it. -
#3spot on advice from dan. make sure you use a heat resistant paint above the primer as it will start to bubble like mine did

#5I used a heat resistant paint, but looked a bit dull so went over it in silver hammerite and it looks really good now!

#6posi blue would look good or even white. depends if your painting anything else. have a look at my engine in my thread about my car and u will get an idea of what to paint.

#9Was thinking of Red today? What grade of sandpaper dya need to use and how much rubbing is needed? Juast enough to key the primer?
