Hi everyone
Does anybody know what is special about a knife edged crank.

Thanks, ad

its when the counterweights on the crank are knife edged to reduce turbulence and parasitic drag.
Makes it move more efficiently, which for a rotating mass is a good thing

Bear in mind rotational mass is 8x static, you weigh that puppy up!

i would not bother unless you had tuned your car up to the hilt. there are better mods to do your car before that. unless yours is already tuned up to the nuts, then go for it

i already have forged pistons, conrods, rally cams, p+p head, throttle bodies etc. I am building the engine up at the moment.
