Engine Conversion

There is probably a thread on this but I couldnt see it.

I have a 1.1i Saxo, and I'm having it upgraded to a vts hopefully. Anywhere locally that will do a professional job on this?

I live in the Manchester area. Any help would be much appreciated

Alot of people on here would do it for a cost!

it aint really to hard to do the conversion! if u wanted to give it ago your self!

if u do this ill be more than happy to help u with ne questions!

Also ask afew local garages and see what they say! some might do it but it will cost around 1k?

wouldnt the insurance cost more doing that than actually owning a VTS though?

pm Landy, he'll be able to sort you out, he's based in Yorkshire, not too far away.

Also, look at the "similar threads" at the bottom of this page.

    just buy a vts?
you get all the bits too - interior, exterior, brakes, suspension, blah, blah...
    surely this makes more sense.

yeah id just buy a vts its gonna be less hassle and probablies less money as your gonna have to change the rear beam and front struts etc as the 1.1 brakes will be useless with a vts engine in it, much easier to just buy one mate

I always wanted to do this to the westy but i think i will just buy a VTS, undecided!

PM me if your interested in doing it, but seriously sell the vts engine and your car then buy a VTS.
