converting to 4 stud...

   just for confirmation....
   is the front drum/head on which the disc is mounted the same on 1.4s as on 1.1s?? Also is it the same for saxos as for 106s???

   i think its the lower engined cars with three stud, nt sure bt i think the 1.4 furio and so on wer four stud but the 1.1 wer three stud, not 100% sure tho, and yeah pug 106 and saxo are the same (i think) .

   My 1.1 is 4 stud.
   
   Pre 99 where 3 stud.
   
   Im no expert by a long way but i'd expect the units to be totally different on a 1.1 than on a 1.4...but then again like i said im no expert.

   My 1.1 is 4 stud. I would guess they are the same on the 1.1 and 1.4, likely to be differnet on the 1.6s.
   
   I think it is very likely that the 106 is the same as the saxo.

   only you got what I was amyn for....
   wanting to know if the drum is the same size...not depending on the number of studs....
   was thinking and think its the same size but depends on the bolt size that goes on and secures it.....
   if its the same size then it has to be the same.....so I could convert to 4 stud only by changing the drum.and the calipers if I am aming on bigger discs.........am I right??
   
   also agree with youy that pug and cit have the same tehnic...so probabaly is the same....

   Ok, what I will do is in a few mins ill have a look in the Haynes manual and see if I can find out the sizes and let you know if they are the same.

   ok, well I had a look and I cant actually see in the book anything about the sizes. I guess you best bet is to see if someone with a 1.4 can measure the size and check with you.
   
   My guess is that if your 1.1 has powersteering, then they are the same size. The 1.1s without power steering have smaller drums at the back and smaller disks. So maybe the 1.1s with no PAS have smaller "head" parts aswel, so in that case I guess it wont fit. Hope this helps.
