on the cheap, grooved discs and aftermarket pads.

Spending a little bit of money on it I'd recommend a GTI-6 brake setup. Awesome braking power for the amount of money it would cost.

Sorry, not trying to hijack the thread. Grooved discs and better pads out cost roughy how much fitted?

dont buy grooved discs....as I reckon yours is a 3 stud saxo....
so you cant go wider than the standard diameter, then there is no point in buying grrooved and drilled discs for a 3stud saxo couse thay are the same size as standard.....

only if you go bigger in discs than buy ventiated discs....but then youll need bigger calipers.....and thats really tricky to do, if you stay 3 stud....

im tempted rushy, proper! only thing is, ill be 3 stud at the back and 4 at the front, so i dont know what id do about wheels?

but im not sure whether to start shelling money on my car as ive put off lowering it as im tempted to sell up and but a newer saxo, most likely a vtr....

im torn between spending aload on mine or moving on.... anyone want a saxo?

I'm always alert with mine, ready to swerve into a different lane instead of ploughing into the back of someone. 1.1 brakes are really SHOCKING. I've got brand new disks and pads, made some difference but you might as well just stick a leg out the door a dig your heel into the ground. Would probably have more of an impact
