    Oooh, did i do wrong?

Yeh the BMC CDA filter is good, iv never seen someone use one of those filters on a saxo though. UNless your going enclosed though and aftermarket filter is as good as the next really

I dont have any thing at the mo insurance was to much with mods but first year is up at the end of the month so time to mod me thinks. I have heard about the cda but dont really have £180 ish spare at the mo

you do realise that 'universal' usually means a lot of work involved getting it fitted.

Raceland make good enclosed filters on a budget. Combined with a green filter your have a pretty good setup! (Porbably the most common used by members of the forum)

You can pick up a raceland cheap on ebay. Leckie has just bought one for £54 so you can see how he gets on in his progress thread

Leckie just bought a BMC last night i think lol
  11. #11
think he's change his plans to one of those ghey fake green encloseds
  12. #12
If you can stretch your budget to a direct fit filter I think you might be better off mate, but saying that there is nothing wrong with a universal filter just you might find it wont sit rite etc etc

Brand is good tho nothing wrong there.

Dont expect to see a amazing difference in performance, look at it as the first step with manifold and full exhuats as the rest of it.

yeah might do i had a universal one on my fiesta was a bit shit not really looking for perfomance upgrade at the mo just the sound, as shall hopefully be getting my hand on a vts in the summer

BMC fell through, he had no way to accpet my money so i got that simotta one insted.
  15. #15
That filter is BMCs new budget induction kit. I'd steer clear of universal kits and save a little more for a CDA
  16. #16
CDA is a universla kit though.

simota kits (dpmotorsport) aren't carbon like the green is.
  21. #21
I didnt think any induction kit is actual carbon?
  22. #22
green, the ecnlosure is carbon fibre.
    BMC is carbon fibre.

thats why they cost so much.

    as above
