how could i get the citroen symbol on the front grill sprayed posi blue, ive seen another person on the site with it done but cant remeber who.

so once i pop out the chevrons, do i just get it sprayed or would i need to sand it down or anything?

Pop off chevrons, get the surface ready for paint by 'keying' the surface, i would recommend 1200 grit wet and dry paper...

Then spray with 3 coats of plastic primer... using 1200 grit wet dry in between coats to get the surface as smooth as possible...allow primer to harden for atleast 24hours before applying the colour...

Apply 3 coats of posi blue paint, also sanding gently with 1200 grit paper between layers to prefent the 'orange skin effect'... it is better to apply lots of thin layers that one thick layer... as paint will easily run...

Once you have several layers of coloured paint, allow the paint to dry for atleast 24hours...

Then you are ready to apply the primer, as posi blue is a metallic colour you will need 'clear' primer to get the metalic effect... apply 2-3 coats of primer, spraying only very thin coats...

Then leave them to dry for another 24hours and they are ready to pop back onto your grill

Then you can stand back and admire your work...
