Painting Calipers, What Paint?

  1. #1
Just been in to halfords to see what caliper paint they had.

Its £9.99 for blue or red, but i want gold.

Will hamorite do? or just any metal paint? or will it flake with the heat?
They had some nice gold hamorite paint £4.99 for small tub. £7.99 for large or a spray can 500ml. Think i will get 4 brakes out of a can? well 8 as getting gti brakes end of april or something.

Will gold look good with black rims and gold car?

If i get the spray was wanting to use the rest on my rocker cover but said its only ok up to heats of 50 degrees, but should i be ok?

Hammerite is the only stuff i would use. The 4.99 tub will be fine, just brush it on.
    Gold will be fine
