Hows it going iv just got a perfectly standard phase 2 vts and im looking to start modifying the engine. What exhaust and induction kit would be best for the job and what else would you recomend doing? Also im planning on getting a supercharger.Where should I get it from and has anyone anything to say about a supercharger? Thanks

Any enclosed induction kit such as pipercross viper or bmc.

Exhaust go for BTB which you can use when youve got the charger on too otherwise the rest are too small.. (pipe diameter and youl have to upgrade)

    as he says

but good luck findinga BTB they no longer make them so its a case of waiting for 1 and been lucky alsogo for quite a bit of money to

carworx, gmc for all your charger bits

Yeah as hessle says try gmc motorsport in scotland or carworx for the charger.

Btb exhaust would be best for the supercharger but if the charger isnt going to come for a while then a magnex seems to be the popular choice amongst most saxo owners.

Induction depends on personal choice really but the main three seem to be bmc cda, green enclosed or pipercross viper.

check gmc website for diamter i think it says

its not just the diamter you wnat you need the bends perfect and the silencers for the back pressure

Kamracing also does a similar induction kit than the green. A raceland enclosure with a green filter for around £90 i think it was.

if your gonna go supercharges sack off the induction kit and start uprating brakes, clutch etc. exchast as said, someones splitting there supercharger on here and all bits so have a look at that

    Ok here we go . . .

Induction kits work kinda like this:

Noise - Open Cone K&N, Green, Pipercross etc
Performance - Enclosed Green, RaceLand, BMC etc

Any change of air filter wheather it be an open cone or enclosed scoop or totally enclosed BMC/Viper style is only as good as the air supply given to them, Cold air feeds and good postioning of the intakes is a must.

If your indeed looking to Supercharge then Id fit the exhaust at the same time as the kit as the fitter will be able to recommend the best item they feel is right for their kit, so if your looking for an extra bit of noise in the mean time then a cheap system like Sportex or Ashley will do until you can afford the blower.

Most blower kits are about £4000-£5000 depending on what you buy then how much further you want to take the kit ie better cams, better brakes and suitable exhaust etc.
