will a change of exhaust reduce my power? VTS

right my power figures are as in my signature. at the minute i have a straight through supersprint centre section 2"bore with a scorpion 5" backbox. its fcking raspy as you like and sings when you floor it but i get the neighbours complaining an awfull lot so im gonna go for a quieter system,

ic just bought a magnex centre section & decat and am gonna buy a magnex backbox. wll the extra silencer and the extra packing in te backbox make a big difference to my performance?

if anything it could possibly improve it due to pulsing, though best bet would be a box in palce of the decat

I think www.demon-tweeks.co.uk might do them not sure, they may not be the cheapest but they do hold a massive stock.

Try www.performancecentre.co.uk too as they have a large list of stock.

Personally I would have perhaps gone for a straight through centre and then the magnex back box - The rear siliencer on the magnex is very good at what it does and Im sure it would have be alot quieter than the 5" jobie your already sporting.

Also if its more enjoyable to drive by being less hard on the ears does it really matter if you lose a pony or two as with your spec you could give most cars (to a point) a good run for there money

first box is more important than the back box performance wise.

im sure any of the custom exhaust places could stick a box in.
