what do you have already no point getting the cams headwork and manifold and remap without enclosed induction and a decent exhaust and decat plus a £1000 wont get that sort of work done for a grand you are looking at a good manifold, exhaust system, enclosed induction kit probably have a couple of hundread left over once you have these parts

vts would be a bit pricey on insurance, at the mo just a airfilter.
what power would my above post see?

around vts power but will cost more than an engine swap. insurance will still be alot on tuned vtr

I had a mk1 vtr running around 120 bhp with a 4-2-1 manifold, Enclosed cda bmc induction kit, piper 285 cam, straight through exhaust and decat, remapped ecu, the car was quick but like stated then vts engine is far more superiour and feels alot freer'er and looser than the vtr like stated for the money the vts engine is the way to go cause it will probably cost you the same on isurance once the mods on the vtr are declared
