Weird power loss in 3rd gear upwards

   the other day i was on my way home and my car just started losing power whenever i put it in 3rd gear and upwards or it would just take a long time 2 actually reach a stage where i cud put it in 4th and then same into 5th
   
   im confused over what it could be
   
   anyone got any ideas

   Is it still running smoothly?

   yh its still runs smoothly it just sometimes loses power when it gets to 3rd gear onwards

   fuel pressure to low
   compression low
   gearbox shaged
   timming out
   
   does it only

   yeh it normally only does it after i sit there for a while and then drive off

   how can i fix that then
   i was thinking of buying an induction kit to try and help add more power

   err that wont do anything mate induction kits dont really give u much more power all they do is allow the car to take in as much air as it wants with out ristriction like the standard boxs do
   
   low compression is either head gasket on its way out, rings are nackard or cyclinder walls are worn

   gasket means new engine dont it i might have to take it to my dads friend and get him to look over it

    i dont think so mate the head gasket is a piece of piss, all it does is to seal the engine together mate so theres no gaps, like what every gaskets job is.
    
    wont need a new eninge mate at all for that
